Cobalt Service Partners Appoints Chris Wise as Group CEO of Security Solutions

New York, NY (June 23, 2026) – The physical security industry is growing rapidly, and Cobalt Service Partners is building to transform the enterprise security experience. Today, Cobalt named Chris Wise as Group CEO of Security Solutions.

Wise founded Security 101 and built it into one of the most recognized franchise models in the industry before spending nearly a decade in senior executive leadership at one of the industry’s largest organizations. Few people in the security industry have worked in the field, built businesses from the ground up, and led large organizations. Wise has spent nearly four decades in the industry and has operated across this full spectrum.

“Whenever we add a new leader to the business, we always ask ourselves two questions. One, can this person perform their role at the highest level. Just as importantly, though, does this person share our values and have the character that we know is essential to building a sustainable business for the long-term. On both items, we know we hit a home run by adding Chris to the Cobalt team. As has been clear the entire time we have gotten to know Chris, he is an incredibly accomplished professional and an even better person. We are thrilled to announce Chris Wise as our new Group CEO of Cobalt Security Solutions.”

– Anthony Gonzalez, Co-CEO, Cobalt Service Partners

“The security market is going to look very different in ten years, and we intend to help shape what it becomes. To do that, we need leaders who can operate at the highest levels without losing sight of what makes founder-led businesses great. Chris has lived and succeeded at both ends of that spectrum – and there aren’t many people you can say that about.”

– Tyler Hoffman, Co-CEO, Cobalt Service Partners

Wise steps into a role at the center of Cobalt’s growth strategy – leading its security business working directly with partner company leaders to deliver the enterprise customer experience that sits at the heart of Cobalt’s vision. It is a role Cobalt has been building toward: the hire of Mike Hopkins as Group CEO of Entrance Solutions nearly a year ago reflected the same conviction – that each business segment needs a dedicated, proven leader at the helm as the platform matures.

“I've spent nearly four decades in this industry, and the one constant across every role, from the field to the executive suite, is that the best outcomes for customers always trace back to the same thing: people who genuinely care about the industry and hold themselves to a standard of excellence that goes well beyond what's required. When I first learned about what Cobalt's founders were building and why, it resonated immediately. The vision here isn't just about growth it's about growth that keeps the practitioner at the center, where lifelong learning sharpens the craft, deliberate customer engagement drives every decision, and the measure of success is the experience we deliver, not just the scale we achieve. That combination of founder mentality, service excellence, and an uncompromising standard doesn't happen by accident. I'm energized to be part of carrying it forward.”

– Chris Wise, Group CEO of Security, Cobalt Service Partners

Since its founding in November 2023, Cobalt has completed 21 acquisitions and continues to grow at a rapid pace. Wise’s appointment underscores Cobalt’s commitment to becoming the security partner enterprise organizations need: one with the scale, depth, and ambition to meet their evolving needs.
