Cobalt Acquires North Carolina Sound

New York, NY (July 13, 2026) – Cobalt Service Partners today announced that it has acquired North Carolina Sound (“NC Sound”). NC Sound represents Cobalt’s 21st acquisition since launching in December of 2023, and its 4th acquisition of 2026.

NC Sound, based in Pikeville, NC, is a systems integrator specializing in technical integrations across North Carolina. The company was founded in 1988 by Mary Creech and has grown under the leadership of Gary Hinton into a trusted partner known for its deep customer relationships and strong culture.

Hinton will remain with NC Sound in a Strategic Advisor role as the company continues to grow under the Cobalt platform.
