Cobalt Acquires Digital Systems Installation
New York, NY (February 2, 2026) – Cobalt Service Partners today announced that it has acquired Digital Systems Installation (“DSI”). DSI is Cobalt’s 17th acquisition since launching in December 2023, and its 6th acquisition of 2025.
DSI, based in Ogden, Utah, is a leading national provider of advanced surveillance and security systems. The company was founded in 2008 by Chad Barnett, then a full‑time police officer with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. He began helping local communities address rising security needs through his expertise in video and surveillance technology. His pioneering early work laid the groundwork for a company defined by reliability and trust.
